Farm-to-Table Dinner – Local Spirits – Silent Auction – Live Music – Grand Prize Raffle!
Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market is celebrating the bountiful season and vibrant local food community with our 7th Annual Harvest Abundance Dinner and Fundraiser! Please come join us for this event and enjoy delicious farm-fresh food while helping to support small farmers and sustainable food systems in our community.
Harvest Abundance will be hosted by Pickle Jar Cafe, a local farm-to-table restaurant which we are pleased to welcome to our community at the Chatham Mills building in Pittsboro. All of the farmers from the Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market will be supplying fresh produce for the dinner, so it will be an excellent opportunity for fans of local food and agriculture to gather together and enjoy the bounty of summer, fresh from the farm and prepared by Pickle Jar Cafe chef and owner, Mario Robledo.
In addition to heavy hors d’oeuvres and dessert made with choice ingredients provided by our farmers, dinner will also include select local wines and beer. The event will also include live music, a grand prize raffle, and a silent auction of items and services by local artists, farmers, and businesses. The grand prize of the raffle is new this year from The Food Fairy, a 22 year-old personal chef company based in Orange County. This prize includes six hours of Personal Chef Services, a Fairy Cooking Wand, and Cook Once ~ Eat for Weeks, a cook-a-long DVD developed by The Food Fairy, plus a selection of groceries from Chatham Marketplace for the chef to use in preparing the dinner – an over $900 value!
Tickets to the event will be available at the door for $60 or can be purchased ahead of time for $55 at the Saturday Farmers Market, Pickle Jar Cafe, Chatham Marketplace, Country Farm & Home in Pittsboro, or from this site, using Paypal. Each ticket to the event comes with a raffle ticket to win the grand prize. If you can’t make it to the event, you can still enter to win the raffle. Raffle tickets for the grand prize may be purchased at the Saturday farmers market before the event and during the event itself (raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20).
If you would like to donate an item to the silent auction, please contact Elizabeth Powers at email@example.com
All proceeds from Harvest Abundance will go to benefit Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market.
We look forward to seeing you there!
