We are very excited to welcome a new (to us) plant vendor to our market: Cure Nursery. Owned by Jennifer and Bill Cure, Cure Nursery’s been a fixture in Chatham county for many years. They specialize in native and wetland trees and shrubs and have largely been a wholesale nursery for the restoration market. We are excited that they’ve chosen our market in order to reach the public!

Aquilegia canadensis flowerThis Saturday, April 12, Cure Nursery will be selling a wide variety of native trees, shrubs and perennials, many of which are either flowering now or promising to do so any minute.  Among them, the redbuds and dogwoods, native rhododendrons, wild blueberries, aronias, strawberry bush, wood poppies, columbines, phlox’s, tiarellas, and more.

From Jennifer and Bill: “We hope our booth at the Chatham Mills Market will become Pittsboro’s go-to place for plants which bring birds, butterflies and bees into our back yards and gardens.”
